The second in the LWV/KHL program series Policing to Public Safety, will be offered by Zoom on January 13, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.
This program, “Policing and Mental Health,” will address how police interact with people in a mental health crisis, from the perspective of law enforcement, victims, and legal advocacy. Discussion will include police training and other policing reform approaches that can help mitigate overreaction and unnecessary violence.
