Join us in celebrating the anniversaries of two critical decisions in Vermont queer history.
December 2019 marks the 20th anniversary of Baker v. Vermont, a landmark legal victory resulting in civil unions for same-sex couples. This was the first legal recognition for same-sex couples in the nation that would set the stage for marriage equality in 2009.
Speakers and guests of honor to include integral Vermont House and Senate officials, Supreme Court Justice Beth Robinson and litigators, and the couples and people who led the charge for equality for many years leading up to and following the decisions.
