Join Peace & Justice Center, Showing Up For Racial Justice, and the Charlotte Library for a four-part discussion on the book White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard For White People To Talk About Racism by Robin DiAngelo. DiAngelo examines how white fragility develops, how it protects racial inequality, and what we can do to engage more constructively. Facilitators Susan Schoenfeld and Patricia Fontaine of the PJC and SURJ will lead you through this book as you dissect what this means for yourself and your community.
Spots are limited (30). Registration is required and participants must attend all four-sessions. Priority is being given to those who live in Charlotte. If you do not live in Charlotte you will be added to a wait list and contacted if a spot opens. Registration closes June 29.
