In conjunction with Town Meeting Day, the Guilford Historical Society will have a display highlighting the local women who signed the 19th amendment. On display will be the original signatures of the women who first took the oath in Guilford. There will be the Edwardian wedding gown of the 2nd woman who signed, Flora Jaqueth Evans, along with an early ballot box found in the old town hall and more! Come learn about Guilford’s role in women’s suffrage and the women who were part of that!
Please verify with the organizer that events are taking place in light of recommended social distancing measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
