Come join the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) for a technical tour at Renewable NRG Systems! NRG has offered to host this event and provide an informal opportunity for SWE members to see the facilities, meet their employees, and gain a better understanding of the sensor technology behind the renewable energy industry. They have spent more than 30 years contributing to improvements in renewable energy, especially in measuring wind power, and are excited to open up their facilities to share their knowledge with people in the community.
The event will be held at the NRG facilities in Hinesburg, VT. NRG has generously offered to provide food and drinks for all attendees in the form of pizza, salad, and assorted beverages. The event will begin at 5:30 and the first 45 minutes will be used to provide attendees with time to arrive, eat, and socialize. After that, there will be a short welcome presentation followed by tours given by the NRG employees who have volunteered their time to help with the event.
NRG occasionally hires summer interns as the business need arise. If you or anyone you know are interested in exploring an engineering internship in Summer 2017, please speak with Anna Grady, VP for HR.
Event Details: The tour will take place on Wednesday, March 8th starting at 5:30pm.
Registration will be open until 11pm on 3/1. If you register but cannot make it, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your reservation.
