Join Safeline for an interactive presentation about the ways children and youth are affected by domestic violence and how adults working with youth can help.

This presentation is for all adults who work with children and youth, including teachers, coaches, youth leaders, and childcare providers.

This presentation includes:
-Brief definition and explanation of domestic violence.
-Discussion of how children and youth experience domestic violence.
-Discussion of emotional, behavioral, physical, social, and cognitive effects that witnessing domestic violence has on children and youth.

Information about:
-What to do when youth disclose violence in the home.
-How to safely talk with a non-abusive parent.
-How to help children feel safe in disclosing violence in the home.
-Local and statewide resources.
