New England Museum Association’s 2019 Conference

VSCA member Rachel Onuf (Vermont Historical Records Program Coordinator) addresses “How Will Your Museum Commemorate the Woman’s Suffrage Centennial?” at the country’s largest regional gathering of museum professionals, this year held in Burlington. Description of this conference workshop session: 2020 is the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment. In this information-sharing session you will hear different approaches that institutions are taking to commemorate this event and learn about resources that you can use to plan your own programming. Whether you have your Centennial plans all laid out or are just starting to think about it, all are welcome. There will be time for networking and sharing and brainstorming ideas.
