Mirna Valerio, Pivoting to Passion and Purpose
September 30 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Suddenly, many of us are finding time to reflect on what is crucial to our well-being, happiness, and wholeness. In this workshop we will develop a framework for creating the slice (or whole pie!) of life that you want and need, driven by your core values and guiding principles, passions, and strengths.
Mirna Valerio is an ultramarathoner and author of the bestselling memoir, A Beautiful Work in Progress. She started her blog Fatgirlrunning—about her experiences as a larger woman in a world of thinner endurance athletes—while training for her first marathon. Mirna’s athletic story was featured in the viral REI-produced documentary short, The Mirnavator. In 2018, she was chosen as a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year and most recently appeared on the Kelly Clarkson Show and Access Daily.
