The Gender Equity Collaborative Action Series (GECAS) is designed to engage leaders in Vermont to envision an equitable future for all genders in our state. The overall goal is to leverage our collective effort and influence to create concrete ways forward for gender equality in Vermont. Through dialogue among policy makers, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, business leaders, educators, and healthcare experts, the first session, Building a Blueprint, will explore the incredible work being done in diverse sectors across the state of Vermont in support of gender equity in an effort to identify areas for collaborative work. The remaining three sessions will address the impact of gender equity on health of women, pay & poverty, culminating with the development of an action initiative.
