Three-part film series co-presented by  American Association of University Women, Bennington Branch and Bennington Performing Arts Center (BPAC). Discussion following screenings will trace the American women’s suffrage movement through the unlikely friendship between Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B. Anthony (January 18), to its evolution into a mass movement— along with the birth of film—in the modern age (January 25), and the generational transfer of leadership, with Alice Paul and other young activists taking the fight for the 19th Amendment to the streets (February 1). Donations at door go to BPAC to defray theater costs.
