The 20th anniversary WALKS and RUN FOR CHILDREN provide us with an opportunity to alert Vermonters to the need for a community commitment to child abuse prevention. Sponsors like McDonald’s and National Life have stepped up to help PCAVT send the important message that there is something that everyone can do to help. You don’t have to be a parent to care for the future of Vermont’s children. Every dollar you help raise in the 2019 WALKS and RUN FOR CHILDREN helps support and inform the many Vermonters who are parents, guardians, teachers, and childcare professionals. As a united, educated, and supported community, we can better prevent the physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional maltreatment, and neglect of our children.
